COPING WITH DEATH
How did we cope? Initially...with faith in God, then, lots of prayer, a really wonderful family and many caring friends. Coping is an on-going process that will never end. But, it will get better. We were helped and given much comfort at the following site:
THE VOICE OF GOD RECORDINGS

What does a mother feel? "There was pain deep within my heart, When from my son, I had to part. He died so quick, instantly, His death is extremely hard for me. I was not there to pray And ask Jesus if he could stay. I was not there to ease his pain, or hold his hand As he crossed into the heavenly land." (exerpt taken from Deliverance)
People handle their grief in different ways... My way was (and still is) to write out my feelings in poetry. All the poetry on this site is my original words and feelings.
I finally put my thoughts and poetry into a book.

A BREATH AWAY is the book I wrote about learning to live after the death of my child.
"There were other times and other places, Other sorrows and other faces. They have felt what I feel now. Can they tell me how To go on and live in peace?"
from the poem... Other Times, Other Places 1999
